My ANA was positive with rheumatoid factor, with other painful symptoms. Is it possible that I just have lupus arthritis, without the actual lupus disease?

I have had a stomach condition for over a year now and my doctor said i might have arthritis as i have swelling of the fingers and toes, and when its cold they are in a lot of pain expeciailly my fingers. The swelling is annoying me and as its colder thats annoying me too. Ive experienced this for about 6 months but its worsened as its colder now. I have recently been really really weak, so much that I have NO energy at the end of the day and i can barely shower & dress at night. I had an arthritis blood test though and it showed completely normal. I don’t believe this is in my head because I have all these symptoms. What else could these symptoms mean? Lupus? and is there a test for lupus?

My symptoms are,low white blood cell count,low grade fever,eczema,arthritis,joint pain etc.Is anyone with the disease familiar with those symptoms(because not everyone gets the same symptoms).Took an ANA test have not gotten the results.Anyone with experience and would like to share?Thank u.

I have been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia for 10 years, but from alot of research on the net I feel it has been Lupus not Fibro I suffer from. I have mouth and nose lesions, Asthma (breathing problems) after no problems for 25 years, big time fatigue, and several forms of Arthritis and joint pain. I can not stay out in the sun, last 3 years I get sick and rash, depression. Are their people out there that are simular to me that FINALLY got the correct diagnosis.

my friend’s aunt, who is in her early 40s and has had arthritis for a very long time has been diagnosed with Lupus disease. She’s really upset but I don’t really understand what this means, and how serious it is? A member of her extended family died from Lupus a few years ago.
