My doctor said I could have an autoimmune disease. I think most of the symptoms are in my head. They said this because they couldn’t find out what’s causing my chest pain and shortness of breath. maybe 3 days later, I started getting severe back pains, and minor pains in my arms and legs. I also don’t understand what they mean by fatigue. I’m tired some times but most of the time I’m up joking and laughing. My back pains are fine in the morning but starts to occur as it gets closer to night. I really need help because it’s driving me crazy doing research and just thinking about it. Plus I won’t know my lab results until 2 weeks from now

The doc pressed a few points on his body and said nothing wrong. He was in with him for 1 minute. Who do you call to complain and hopefully get his .00 copay back? Any ideas?
He had many blood tests over the years. His Primary dr is at a loss which is why he sent him to Rheum. Symptoms are joint and muscle pain, cracking of joints, sores in nose, major fatigue, depression and feeling of hoplessness, irritable, poor circ, carpal tunnel, nerve damage in arm, knee pain, thyroid low, testoserone low. he exercises regularly, runs 5-8 miles(not since this got worse) is on 250 mg levothyroxine, folic acid, androgel, various muscle relaxers. This has been going on for over 10 years. What kind of dr do we go to now?

I have the following symptoms and my primary care physician suspects early onset of lupus. Here is some of what I experience:

episodes (lasting about a week) of fatigue, weakness, dizziness, fever (low grade during the day, spiking at night to almost 104) hives, aches, fatigue, anemia, muscles twitches through out my whole body, facial redness with warmth, chills, night sweats. My lab tests came back all crazy…most of the numbers were off. A very high Sed rate and CRP. Any help or advice?

Here are my symptoms

Joint pain/ joint cracking
muscle pain and weakness
occasional butterfly rash
nausea in the morning/vomiting sometimes during attacks
tingling and cold fingers
fatigue
hair loss
memory problems
shaky hands/ sometimes unable to write and hold pen
insomnia and leg jerks in sleep
pain in chest and inability to breathe during attacks
head feels hot sometimes

I had four attacks –> June, August, October, and December of this year.

My ANA came back negative and my doctor says it’s not lupus or any other autoimmune. What should I do now?

I have been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia for 10 years, but from alot of research on the net I feel it has been Lupus not Fibro I suffer from. I have mouth and nose lesions, Asthma (breathing problems) after no problems for 25 years, big time fatigue, and several forms of Arthritis and joint pain. I can not stay out in the sun, last 3 years I get sick and rash, depression. Are their people out there that are simular to me that FINALLY got the correct diagnosis.

hi all. i have joint pain in my fingers and ankles, blisters in the back of my throat, feel sick, heavy flu like symptoms, pain near my right kidney and abdomen, feel vague, slight rash on my face which ive had for years which comes and goes. headaches and FATIGUE. i have lupus in my family could i have it? can anyone give me any advice please?

I am taking Birth Control and wondered if it could cause symptoms of lupus, such as fatigue, weight gain, night sweats, muscle pains, hair loss. I am 20 yrs old and i weigh 127 and am 5’8. and lupus runs in my family. i went to the doctor and they did test results i find them out thursday, but thought i asked.

I’ve been having lupus symptoms for over a month:
- intense joint pain
- sun rash
- fatigue
- swollen glands
- muscle pain
-etc.

I never had a butterfly rash.

My doctor had an ANA blood test and rheumatoid test done.
both were negative.

Anyone know of any other things with these symptoms, or other tests I should have done?
I’d really love some help!
